Our Biblical beliefs concerning worship & finances

At First Baptist Church we believe God gives us clear guidance about worship and financial stewardship. We recognize God as the Creator, source, and Lord of all things that he has entrusted to us (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16-17). In his divine providence he has made us temporary stewards of his resources and possessions. Because of this we believe he expects us to use all of these resources wisely for his honor and glory as an act of worship. We are Jesus followers and believe in tithing regularly to the local church and giving generously and cheerfully beyond the tithe as the Lord blesses and gives us guidance (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
As a church, we're pleased to provide an opportunity for our members, guests, and partners in ministry to give online; however, we want to remind you that we do offer 5 different ways to partner with us through your generosity. 

1. You can give your financial support during our regularly scheduled times of worship and discipleship : on Sundays at 8:45 AM (Early Worship): 10:00 AM (Life Groups); and 11:00 AM in our morning worship; and also on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM during our times of worship and bible study. 
2. We welcome you to stop by our church offices at any time that's convenient for you. We would love to chat and pray for you and your family. And while you're here you can drop off your financial support if you wish. 
3. Electronic Bill Pay - which is easily established with your banking institution at no cost to you. In utilizing this option your bank makes automatic withdrawals from your account and mails your financial support directly to the church at your discretion. 
4. You can always mail your financial support to the church office at: First Baptist Church, 11606 Nickelsville Hwy., Nickelsville, VA 24271.
